Giving Tuesday at Green State | Support VT Flood Relief

In early July of this year, the state of Vermont experienced devastating floods that wiped out crops, roads, homes, and shuttered businesses. Months later, our brave little state continues to recover and rebuild. 

To celebrate Giving Tuesday a portion of every order placed 11/27 -11/28 online and in-store at Green State Dispensary will be donated to the following organizations supporting VT Flood Relief.

The WaterWheel Foundation’s 2023 Flood Recovery Fund

The WaterWheel Foundation’s 2023 Flood Recovery Fund was created to help support Vermont and Upstate New York flood recovery efforts. The 2023 Flood Recovery Fund will support both shorter-term needs and long-term recovery and resiliency projects.

Vermont Main Street Flood Recovery Fund

The Vermont Main Street Flood Recovery Fund, administered by Capstone Community Action and supported by Cannabis Retailers Association of Vermont (CRAV), provides grants to small business owners impacted by July 10th’s flooding to cover costs such as equipment replacement, supplies, and help with clean-up.

Intervale Farmers Recovery Fund

Donations to the Intervale Farmers Recovery Fund will help farmers recuperate from flooding at the Intervale in Burlington, VT. Donations will be distributed to the seven farms at the Intervale Center including New Farms for New Americans.

The VT Flood Response and Recovery Fund 2023 was established by The Vermont Community Foundation to support Vermonters responding to and recovering from the catastrophic rainfall across Vermont in 2023.

NOFA VT Farmer Emergency Fund

The NOFA-VT Farmer Emergency Fund is available to assist Vermont-certified organic and NOFA-VT member commercial farmers who are in financial need after having been adversely affected by natural and unnatural disasters.
